Genius Limo Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Genius Limo, we strive to provide exceptional service while accommodating your scheduling needs. Please review our cancellation policy below to understand your options and responsibilities when modifying or canceling a reservation.

General Cancellation Policy

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 100% of the total service cost is required to secure all bookings unless otherwise specified.
Cancellations: To avoid additional charges, cancellations must be made in writing (via email to booking@geniuslimo.com) at least 14 days prior to the scheduled service date. The deposit will not be refunded, but no further payment will be required.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 14 days before the service date will result in a charge of 100% of the total service cost, payable immediately or charged to the credit card on file.
No-Shows: Failure to cancel or appear for the scheduled service without prior notice will result in a full charge of the service cost with no refund eligibility.

Prom Season Cancellation Policy (April 1 – June 30)

Due to high demand during prom season, the following special terms apply:

  • A non-refundable deposit of 100% of the total service cost is required at the time of booking for all prom-related reservations.
  • Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the service date will result in the loss of the deposit, with no additional charges.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the service date are non-refundable, and the full service cost will be charged.
  • No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled service time will result in a full charge with no refund.

Additional Terms

Method of Refund: Where applicable, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of cancellation approval.
Force Majeure: Genius Limo reserves the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances (severe weather, mechanical issues, or other acts beyond our control). In such cases, deposits may be credited toward a future booking at our discretion, but no cash refunds will be issued.

Notes

Prom Season: The stricter policy from April to June reflects the high-volume booking period, which is standard for limo services during prom season.
Virginia Law: This aligns with general contract principles in Virginia, ensuring clarity and fairness. However, enforceability (non-refundable deposits) should be confirmed with a local attorney.
